Accessibility

Designed for more ways of working

The release target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Conformance is established through testing, not visual intent alone.

What the site provides

Known verification boundary

Automated and browser-based accessibility checks are part of the release workflow, but they detect only a subset of barriers and do not establish conformance on their own. Keyboard-only use, zoom and reflow, reduced motion, forced colours and assistive-technology behaviour require periodic human testing. If a feature is difficult to use, the pattern indexes and canonical repository remain alternative routes to the same public content.

Standards basis

Implementation decisions follow the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2.
